Meet the Founder
John Briggs
Founder & Developer
John Briggs is a 60-year-old software engineer with over 20 years of experience building enterprise systems. When he felt called to create a tool that could help others strengthen their spiritual lives, he combined his technical expertise with a bold new approach—using AI as a coding partner.
The result is Covenant Path: an enterprise-grade spiritual growth application with over 260,000 lines of code, 1,305+ commits, and the kind of architecture typically seen in apps built by teams of dozens.
John's journey proves that age is no barrier to innovation, and that purpose-driven development—powered by faith and AI—can create something truly remarkable.

A Bible Study Destination
Covenant Path is both a mobile app and a growing library of free Bible study resources on the web. Alongside the app's daily scripture, prayer, and journaling tools, our website offers 50+ character studies exploring figures from Abraham to Lydia, in-depth verse analysis with historical context, curated topic guides for every season of life, and practical guides for prayer, fasting, and spiritual growth — all completely free.
Whether you use the app to build daily faith habits or browse the site for Bible study material, everything we build serves the same mission: helping you deepen your relationship with God through consistent, intentional practice.
The name BMOZI carries a deeper layer too — it honors Mozi (墨子), an ancient Chinese philosopher who taught universal love 2,400 years ago. His conviction that we should love everyone — not just our own — mirrors what Jesus taught. Read the full story behind the name →
